Every light you carry is your health, and every spark it throws fights for you. Hold FLARE to burn brighter for more power, faster attacks and a wider light, but it eats your flame, and everything in the dark is drawn to it.

Light the dark, survive the night

Each journey is one full day in one land. Explore by day, light the lantern posts at dusk, and hold out through the night. Lit lanterns heal you, fight beside you and bring colour back to the world. Light every one and the land's boss comes out to face you. Beat it and the sun rises early.

Controls

• Keyboard and mouse: move with WASD, the arrow keys or by holding the left mouse button. Hold Space, Shift or the right mouse button to FLARE.
• Gamepad: move with the left stick. Hold A, RB or RT to FLARE.
• Phone: drag on the left half of the screen to move. Hold the FLARE button.
